Over the course of a number of years, Daniel directed, designed, and produced auto show presentations for six of GM's brands (Buick, Cadillac, GMC, Pontiac, Saab, and Saturn), all premiering at the Detroit Auto Show, and in use for the subsequent 12 months. Working directly and closely with Brand and Exhibit managers at GM HQ in and around Detroit, these pieces were created using a combination of originally shot footage, previously-shot footage (typically for commercials) and provided graphics and photography.

Pontiac

A multiscreen video conveying Pontiac's key brand benefit - "Unsurpassed Driving Excitement ". Divided into eight sections covering each of Pontiac's vehicles, the project utilized a 40 foot-wide display consisting of 12 plasma screens mounted around an ultra-wide LED panel. It was the centerpiece for Pontiac's presence at national auto shows across the U.S.

GMC

GMC's brand at trade shows across the US were promoted with the use of this video, embodying their tagline "We Are Professional Grade".   Among the different versions created was one for display at GM's Test Track at The EpCot Center in Florida.

Buick

A 7-screen promotional film covering Buick's concept cars - in particular the "Bengal", displayed at the NAIAS Auto Show, then at subsequent auto shows across the U.S.A. The promo consists of all original elements - 35mm motion control footage of specially-created models, 2D graphics and typography and abstract 3D animation. A single screen version was used at smaller auto shows.

Cadillac

A multiscreen video promoting technologies in Cadillac's vehicles (NorthStar V8, Stabilitrak, Rear Parking Assist, OnStar and XM Radio). Five larger plasma screens showed the main visuals, accompanied by 15 smaller LCDs with text support.

Saturn

Two videos promoting Saturn's two new vehicles, the "Aura" and "Sky".   Vertically-oriented plasma screens were in place beside each vehicle at their launch, and other versions, such as this single screen version, were used at subsequent auto shows.
